Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup (IHR Cup) 2025, the biggest horse racing event in Indonesia, is set to take place at the Sultan Agung Stadium (SSA) in Bantul, Yogyakarta on June 15, 2025. Organized by SARGA.CO, the sole horse racing event promoter in Indonesia, in collaboration with PP PORDASI (the Indonesian Equestrian Federation), the event promises thrilling races and significant prize money.
This year’s IHR Cup boasts an impressive lineup. Over 131 horses from various provinces across Indonesia will compete across 18 classes, vying for a total prize pool exceeding Rp 400 million. The competition promises to be fierce, showcasing the nation’s equestrian talent.

The IHR Cup 2025 features a diverse range of 18 classes.
These classes cater to different age groups (2 and 3 years old), height categories (A-F), and breeds (Thoroughbred).
Races are held across different distances (800m, 1000m, 1200m, 1300-1400m, 1850m, and 2000m), offering a wide variety of competition.
Two prestigious classes, the Open Class (2,000 meters) and the Calon Derby (1,850 meters), each offer a substantial prize of Rp 70 million.
The IHR Cup serves as a prelude to the Indonesia Derby in July, also planned for SSA Bantul, ensuring the venue’s readiness for the peak championship. SARGA.CO and PP PORDASI work together to prepare the venue for the Triple Crown series.
